Be they murals or faux finishes,
my specialties and services are fairly straightforward:
* Wall Murals: (usually) a very large image,
such as a painting or enlarged drawing applied directly to a wall, ceiling, floor, etc.
* Trompe
l'oeil: (French for "trick the eye," from "tromper" - to deceive and "l'œil"
- the eye, pronounced as "trom ploy") is an art technique involving extremely realistic imagery in order
to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects really exist.
* Faux Finishes: To imitate
marbles, porphyry, and other stones, "faux finishes" are often painted using spatter dash, sponging, and
feather-streaking techniques on gessoed and painted surfaces. (Classic Woods, Marbles, and other Textured surfaces)
If you would like more information about how to proceed and know "what's next?" kind of
thing, please contact me by e-mail or by phone so we can begin to explore your project and idea and bring it to
life sooner than later. ~ Serge
